Today's oddities:

--Or the mix and match version of a blog entry.
--Again, my I-tunes keeps calling up the Christmas music. I didn't realize I had that many christmas tunes. Apparently, I do.
--May need to forage outside for some necessities like t.p, and detergent and so forth. Was hoping not to, but it's kind of
needed.
--Finally did laundry. (Woo!) But of course, it's been so long that I ran out of detergent. So, I bought the 50 cents dry powder stuff from the laundry room. Hey, it's clothes. And I still seriously need to buy clothes. All kinds, mainly everyday pants. A zipper broke on a goodish pair of capris that I will probably try and get fixed somehow. Sigh.
--I bought at Tar-shay a new fitted sheet and some pillowcases because many of my fitted sheets seem to be dying or what have you. I got a deep red to match the sheets I already have. I have opened them and put them on the floor with the theory that I will wash them tonight before I sleep on them since they'll be too scratchy otherwise. Ali of course sees this as his new place to lie luxuriously. To be fair, it is the color of the sheets of the bed. so it's semi-natural.
--Watched Back to School which is one of my surprisingly favorite comedies. Or one of those that I will always watch if it's on. And yes, it's got some dumb stuff, but it holds together better than one would think. Was odd to see Danny Elfman and Oingo Boingo doing "Dead Man's Party" at the party scene. And yes, because it's me, got distracted by the casting as Sally Kellermann is still Hot Lips, the annoying professor is the neighbor from Mad About You and the kid who played Jason is the guy from Christine. (Which I have only seen in parts.)
--And I need a new lamp for the study since I busted the one I had there in a "crash into it" way.
--And my hair needs cutting since it's not as bad as it was in June when I got it cut, but is approaching that way. And I can make a tiny ponytail with it. Or two pigtails should I want to. It can curl up. Oh well, it will happen.
