Where in the World is Calliope?

Thanking of course the PBS program Where in the world is Carmen Santiago? Which tried to teach kids about geography. Can't say for sure whether it was successful or not, but it was a valiant effort. And it did provide a good title and a woman in a fedora, neither of which cannot be overlooked. This is not to imply that Callie's gone missing, missing, but she's gone hiding somewhere around the place. The options of late are
--sitting by the laundry basket in the linen closet. Perfectly contented.
--In one of the tubes under the dining room table.
--In various boxes about the house.
--If I am at the computer, below the computer
--the basket by the printer which contains printer paper.

Alistair does hide, but doesn't seem to vary as much. Choices are more likely
--on top of the bed, particuarly if there is sunshine to bask in.
--under the bed, if it's cloudy.
--occasionally in the linen closet on top of my jeans.
--on top of the couch.
--by the coffee table.

Cats, hours of anthropological entertainment.
