Inundated with address labels...

--Yet again, am perplexed by something available online that one probably doesn't need. Was googling address labels and I got hits that says that you can buy them, and customize them, and so forth. Whatever, all very lovely and I'm sure I'm not their demograph. But why would you pay for address labels? I have a stack of ones from the various charities I've given to and am not going to use all of them even if I send out Christmas cards for three years straight. Which is not terribly likely. I even threw out some I thought that were particularly hideous yesterday. They were for Gay Men's Health Crisis, and a place that supports women with breast cancer. What happens when you give to both the HRC and NARAL, I guess. But that I got them on the same day just seemed too amusing. I don't idly throw things away, but these were hideous. The Breast Cancer address labels were all floral with loud, bright flowers that even stereotypical grandmothers might think were too much. And very big. And the Gay Men's Health Crisis had AIDS ribbons, but even they were poorly done. Like the reds were dingy against the off-white. In contrast, the Nature Conservancy has nice purple flutterbies and Amnesty International are pretty decent, too. And the Sesame St. have muppets on them. :). So, maybe I need to get together on mailing massive things out that I've been fixing to do so. Though, I fear even if I send a letter or something to everyone in my address book, I'll only get through a quarter of the address labels. If random things pop up in your mail cubby, you'll know why...
--Found the Cornish Pasty Company which is pretty good. Their banofee pie is quite good: caramel, whipped cream and graham cracker crust. I was at the Art Museum to look at the museum and the museum shop. They had a cool exhibit with lps on record players that you could play at the same time. They had a DJeed event tonight which was cool where they mixed various records. What it involved and how it works, I have only like half an idea. But it was neat. Didn't find anything at the museum shop that called out for me to buy. Gasp...What is this world coming to?

--Oh no, it's Nickelback...No....
--Now, it's Bon Jovi's "Lost Highway," and unfortunately, all I can think of is David Lynch's Lost Highway which I'm pretty sure wasn't his plan. Maybe it was, but I sort of doubt it.
--The oddness known as online radio.
--Well, I think my pajamas are calling.
