Yes, I've had the phrase, "Four in the morning came without a warning" in my head for about a week which is from the song "Four in the Morning." and you can check out the link for the lyrics which are a lot worse than even I thought they would be. "Sister Christian" was problematic, but problematic in a more forgivable way.
Below is what one of the people who wrote about Night Ranger's Greatest Hits package (what, all four of them? And I'm being generous)
"Despite the absence of "Interstate Love Affair" from the movie Teachers, this collection captures the hard rockers at their best, and is ideal for those of us 80's people wanting a stroll down a Sentimental Street". (Amazon)
Okay, I flagged this for the following reason. I don't remember "Interstate Love Affair" from Teachers. I remember "Teacher Teacher" by 38 Special. Okay, I had to check amazon to check who did the song, but I remember how it goes.
I liked the movie okay as I've only seen bits on tv. I liked the history professor who makes them re-enact Crossing the Delaware and believes he's back there and is an escapee from an insane asylum. It's a darker Fast Times at Ridgemont High with Nick Nolte, Ralph Macchio, JoBeth Williams and Judd Hirsch. It's the high school is hell theme and one of the kids sues the school because he graduates from school illiterate. It's clearly an 80s film. Not quite hopeful enough to be Dead Poets' Society.
But ye gods. Did I have no critical thinking in terms of what I liked? Wow, in retrospect, what was up with some of the 80s lyrics? Okay, I heard "Iko Iko" by the Bell Stars which is bizarre but is at least supposed to be.

And now I'm going to have to check it out. Ah well. Not a huge crisis.
I still have various Sinead songs going through my head.
