Which is I think what people call those songs that get stuck in your head for no real reason. I am quite susceptible to song cues and will have various songs running through my head. Many of them are from other people or many are just my own weird connections. So the ones we've got today are:
Much of Sinead O'Connor's I do not want what I haven't got album in particular "This is the Last Day of our Acquaintance," "Emperor's New Clothes" and "Three Babies." This has been going on for two weeks now. I haven't listened to any Sinead in quite awhile.
"When Love Goes Wrong" from Gentleman Prefer Blondes with Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe. Can't explain that one at all. Haven't seen it in awhile.
and
"Dreaming" by OMD, which I mentioned previously.
and parts of the Buffy soundtrack "Once More with Feeling" as it's been on permanent rotation on my computer. Particularly, "Walk through Fire" and "Going through the motions."
and Nancy Griffith's "Late Night Grande Hotel" and some of Mary Chapin-Carpenter's "I Feel Lucky."
These might be slightly different than the technical definition as I like all of these. Songs that do qualify are the "Metropolitan Mattress" ad, The Fox-10 musical intro, and that damn Nickelback song(tm). (This week it's "Photograph" but it can be any of them.)
Well, I must get my laundry.
