A Coffee Shop of one's own.

An updated rant of the earlier coffee shop dilemma. I was up in Scottsdale on Thursday and was going to try and get work done. (The same old, same old). So, after I get food and bought more books at Brentano's, I tried to go to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf to do work, which 1) had trouble finding and 2) it turns out it closed at 8 p.m on a Thursday. What the fuck? 10 I'm not happy about, but at least I can understand that a bit. But 8? So much for me trying a new coffee place. I've tried this damn place before and it never seems to be open or to be easy. It might as well be Brigadoon or some other unreachable place for all that I'm able to get there.

Why exactly do I ever think that it's going to be easy to do any work up there? What exactly do the students who live up there do? I was trying to be good and do work instead of go see the new Woody Allen movie.

By the by, I was up there around 7 and the movie theater had a line that went around the door and into the back. I've never seen it that busy. It's a Thursday. Is this a snowbirds thing or what?

Well, am going to get chai and work for another hour.
