Random Tv. rant.
Why do I always see certain eps and not others? And always the ones that I don't want to see. Like for example, the exhausting episode of Little House in the Prairie where her brother dies after childbirth and Laura runs away as she felt bad because she hated the child due to jealousy. Or the ep. of Battlestar Galactica with Count Iblis or the one where Apollo crash lands on the world that has the woman he falls in love with that has the annoying child Puppus. The actress went on to play Donna's mom on 90210. It's not just in one time zone as it happens when I'm travelling too. Why not the fun episodes like where Nellie and Laura fight over Almanzoo or the Jonathan episode of Battlestar Galactica or what have you? Or why is it always the Borg ep. on TNG? Or the one with Damon Bok or the one where Deanna's going to marry that guy? Or first season?

For years, I was never able to really get into the original "Star Trek" because every time I sat down to catch a late night episode, it was the one where Frank Gorshin was the guy who was half-white and half-black. That, coupled with my hesitancy that polyester suits and styrofoam rocks represented the future of space travel, prevented me from being a trekkie...and for that, I am grateful. "Almanzoo"?!?!
